Seed germination and dormancy in Senna multijuga. A germination trai Iwas made for eleven Senna multijuga populations in six different temperatures and two seed escarification treatments. Variation in seed germination was observed in different populations, but temperatures below 30° and above 40° C discriminated no populations in relation to germination ability. Temperatures between 30° and 35°C were better for Senna multijuga seed germination because they offer good germinative ability discrimination, also reducing the amount of hard, embebed and rotten seeds.
