PEDOLOGIA DO PARQUE ESTADUAL DA SERRA DO MAR IV. FOTOINTERPRETAÇÃO DE AMOSTRAS CIRCULARES

Abstract

Aerial photographs were used to show the quantitative composition of natural drainage systems, and the characteristics of drainage pattern through 5 kmº circular sampling with the objective to establish a relalion among morphogenetically different soils in the "Parque Estadual da Serra do Mar", in "Cubatão" (São Paulo State, Brazil). It was concluded that all the quantitative characteristics of the drainage pattern considered in this study indicated differences among soil units.The alterations in the drainage pattern were clue to the soil constituition the rocky substratum profundity and the condition of the site relief.
