FENOLOGIA DE ALGUMAS ESPÉCIES DA MATA ATLÂNTICA, RESERVA ECOLÓGICA DE MACAÉ DE CIMA (ESTUDO PRELIMINAR)

Phenology of 15 species was monitored during ten months in 1 ha plol in Atlantic Rain Forest, in lhe Reserva Ecológica de Macaé de Cima, Nova Friburgo, RJ. Visits for phenological records were made every two weeks, where the average of 5 (tive) trees of each species were taken. Flowering, fruiting, leaf fali and leaf production panerns were monitored. The first results showed that the reproductive activities had a very low percentage during lhe year, for the majority of the species studied. But flowering could be observed on november in most of the species. They exhibit an evergreen behaviour, since they show a low percentage of leaf fali and leaf production.
