FITOSSOCIOLOGIA DE UMA ÁREA DE MATA SUBTROPICAL NO PARQUE ESTADUAL DO TURVO - RS

This work shows lhe result of the phytosociological study of one of three distinct areas of lhe Turvo State Park at Tenente Portela, RS (27 º a 27 °20'S e 53 °40' a 54 ° 1 O'W), thal are being studied by the floristic and phytosociological survey of the arborens and shrubby components. lt was allocated 107 points with 428 individuais of lhe arborens component (DBH -z: 10cm) and 428 individuais of the shrubby one (DBH < i O and H -z: 1 cm) by the point-centered quarter method. lt was estimated lhe absolute and relative density and frequency, relative dominance, importance value índex and coverage índex. The plants sampled were distributed in classes for diameler and heigthl. The total density was estimated in 546,59 individuals/ha for lhe arboreous component and 1499,25 for lhe shrubby one. Sorocea bonplandii showed lhe highest IVI for both components.The stratification of individuais of the arboreous component al lowed the delimitation of lhree loosely defined strata.
