Abstract

The pattem of nodulation of Chamaecrista desvauxii (Colladon) Killip in very close areas from the highway Engenheiro Wilson Finardi between Rio Claro and Charqueada (ravine area and highway shoulder area) and the results from the greenhouse were compared to those observed in the field. The plants developed in highway shoulder soil presented higher amounts of nitrogen in the shoots and nodules, and best biomass results.
