Abstract

Eight enzymes systems (EST, IDH, PGM, PGI, MDH, PER, 6PGDH and SKDH) coding for nine loci were investigate in Esenbeckia leiocarpa. Four allozyme systems were monomorphic (IDH, PGM, 6PGDH and SKDH) and four polymorphic (EST, PGI, MDH and PER). Mendelian inheritance was confirmed for four loci by testing the fit of band-pattern to 1:1 expected segregation ratio in progeny from heterozygous trees. Linkage disequilibrium was examined for ten pair of allozymes loci. A simple pair of loci appears to be in linkage disequilibrium, Est-1:Prx-1.
