BALANÇO HÍDRICO DE DUAS MICROBACIAS HIDROGRÁFICAS NO LABORATÓRIO DE HIDROLOGIA FLORESTAL WALTER EMMERICH, SÃO PAULO

The water balance of B and D experimental watersheds in "Walter Emmerich Hydrologic Laboratory" was studied considering a period of six years. The measured components were annual precipitation and streamflow. From the difference between them it was estimated the evapotranspiration, neglecting the changes in soil moisture storage. The mean annual precipitation, streamflow and evapotranspiration, were respectively - B watershed: 2,013 mm, 1,473 mm and 540 mm; D watershed: 2,159 mm, 1,555 mm and 604 mm. The results demonstrates that Mata Atlântica forest is conservative in terms of water consumption.
