This is a study about oleoresin production in a closed systcm, using recycled two-Iitter plastic (PET) bottles and PVC tubes plus plastic bags, fittcd into small boles drilled at the base of slash pine (Pinus elliottii) trees, developed at Avaré Forest, admiüistrated by "Instituto Florestal de São Paulo". Thc results obtained show: a) the necessity of further cssays, in order to determine the ideal chemical stimulant concentration, as well as bole dcpth, number and position; b) thc oleoresin prcscnts high quality; c) the PVC tube plus plastic bag showed better results than the plastic bottle, and d) it is employed less man power in the closed system than in the convcntional system .
