CONTRIBUIÇÃO À PRÁTICA DO MANEJO DE BACIAS HIDROGRÁFICAS

Abstract

I worked during three years with the population resident in the are a of mini-micro Hydrographic Basin in "Pinheirinhos", this brook's head waters being responsible for 70% of the supply to the "Andradas" population in southern Minas Gerais State, Brazil. The results can be evaluated by rationalization of the use of hydric resources, the planting of 38.500 trees planted in the risk area, ciliar plant the sources protections, besides improving the quality of life of the population of 138 families that are living in the mini-micro basin, decurrent from conscientization environment and its importance in regeneration and conservation of biodiversity.
