Knowing the importance of a forest or vegetable coverforthe balance of an agroecosystem, the Biodinamic Institute, in 1987, developed a project of vegetable reconstitution on the top of two hills, comprehending 2 haofthe Estância Demétria, Botucatu municipality, State of São Paulo. Our objective was the following, during one year, of the transplanted tree's development to determinate mortality after the transplanting. It was observed that some species as Laphantera lactescens, Torresea cearensis and Calycophyllum spruceanum did not resist the frost of Botucatu. Concerning to the module's system of planting, it was possible to observe that the pioneer specieshave grown better and might be already helping the slow growing of those following species. We may consider such data as preliminary steps forfuture studies and projects in the region.
