Abstract

This paperdescribesthe initial phase of an agroforest essay instaled at the north of Espírito Santo state. At this research are studied fou r (4) ag roforest desig n, incl uding agricultural species (beans, corn, maniho, coffee, "pupunha"), frutable species (pineapple, "rnacadâmia") and forest species (E."citriodora", "ipê-felpudo", "guapuruvú"). The results obtained at the essay instalation phase and the crops obtained with four (4) months age are presented.
