A spacing on Ipê-felpudo (Zeyhera tuberculose (Vell.) Bur.) was established at Forest Reserve of Unhares, north of Espírito Santo State, and the spacing tested were: 1,41 m x 1,41 m; 2,00 m x 2,00 m; 2,45 m x 2,45 m; 2,83 m x 2,83 m; 3,16 m x 3,16 m e 3,46 m x 3,46 m. At 48 age months and for the soil and climatical conditions on the study site, the treatments 1 and 2 were the spacing that presented major volume with 96,06 m3/ha and 86,70 m3/ha, respectivelly. However, the treatment 2 had the major mean at the 48 age months (51,27 m3/ha). Current increments and annual mean are increasing while the treatments curves 4, 5 and 6 are already, at this age, ascendents, toward to the curt ideal point.
