RELAÇÕES DE SOLO, PAISAGEM, GEOLOGIA E FERTILIDADE POTENCIAL PARA DESENVOLVIMENTO DE FLORESTAS

Were used for analysis and regional physiographic interpretation of weathering covers. The total and ex-changeable contents of the nutrients were measured in several samples. The data concerning to the presence of the nutrients in the vegetation and already available in the area were utilized in this study. The results showed that the fertility of the soils in the area depends on the genetic materiais and also that the same soils have different behavior relative to the fertility, according to the thein associated geologic units; the quality ofthe site depends if the landscape is homogenous, and also of the soil genesis, geology and regional climatology. The results allowed to conclude that the actual fertility in these soils is not enough to support these forests.
