This work presents data and discussion of genetic variation between populations of Euterpe oleracea Mart., for traits trunk diameter, total height (6, 24 and 50 months), survival rate, number of sprouts (24 and 50 months), height of clear stem; height of canopy, height of root and length of frond sheath. For the height of canopy, height of clear stem and length of frond sheath we did not find statistical difference. The trunk diameter and total height showed significant statistical difference only in lhe nursery phase, and for number of sprouts only in lhe 50 months. The traits height of root showed the higher variation and higher genetic control in relation the others studied traits. These results are importantto be considered in future researches of conservation and genetic improvemenl.
