LISTA PRELIMINAR DAS ESPÉCIES DA FLORA APÍCOLA NATIVA DA FAZENDA FAXINAL

Abstract

Fazenda Faxinal, with its2.208 haareacovered by primary plants from the Hillside Atlantic Forest in Southern Brazil, is located in Blumenau, in lhe state of Santa Catarina. At Fazenda Faxinal they have produced honey since 1983, as an alternative for the economic exploitation in a multiple use program of the forest resources. Up to now, were surveyed 42 native apicultural species that are being maintained in the forest which has being exp!oited in the way of lhe natural management. The discovery of new apicultural species will become an essential contribuition to the data-bank in the field of the management studies.
