A development scale of the palm Euterpe edulis was developed. The development scale presented here includes the following stages: germination, juvenilleaves, pinnate leaves - thickened roots, basal thickening, stipe elongation stipe thickening, distances between sheath shortening, reproduction, senescence and death. This scale can be an important tool inthe E. edulis management.
